When I was 10 years old my mother enrolled me in a performing arts school where I studied modern dance for 7 years. In these formative years, dance became my primary outlet for self-expression and exploration. When I was 14 years old my mother enrolled me in filmmaking classes where I held a Super 8 camera for the first time, and in turn, film became the medium that I naturally gravitated towards. More and more, I realized how movement and sensation through these two mediums became the backbone of how I made sense of the world.
My growth, exploration, and experience in film have only solidified more through receiving a B.A from the University of California, Davis in Cinema & Digital Media. As a dedicated storyteller, I've gathered experience in directing, editing, photographing, and filming for integrated campaigns. As an avid storyteller, I have extensive experience shooting short films, short-form videos, web series, events, and social media content. As a growing visual storyteller, I seek to gain more camera experience in narrative-based filmmaking, stop-motion animation, and video production.

Behind the camera, I am interested in capturing powerful visual ambiance and telling stories through dynamic lighting, tones, textures, and unique angles. As a Mexican-American, first-generation college graduate, the representation and amplification of underrepresented voices, identities, histories, and spaces are very important to me, especially in media spaces. I would love to continue growing as a visual storyteller and connect to tell more stories of this nature.
I am based in Portland, Oregon where I'm looking to grow with a creative team, community, and brand I am passionate about. When I'm not creating, you can find me hiking in the Columbia Gorge, thrifting my dream New York Fashion Week look, or having an existential crisis from writing this bio.
